Water Quality and Testing Along the Sugar Creek

D. Water Quality Monitoring: (next)  (return to water quality and testing outline)

The planning process led to the following water quality monitoring plan:

21 water quality sampling points were established in May of 2001. These form the basis of the long-term monitoring efforts in the headwaters of the Sugar Creek.

At each sampling location, 100 ml water samples are collected bi-monthly for water quality analyses.

Water samples are immediately refrigerated (4 degrees C) and transferred to the laboratory for analyses.
