Best Practices -- Selective De-tiling

Best Management Practices are being implemented along the Sugar Creek:

       Selective de-tiling

  • Priorization of PHW can determine which tile lines to convert to small streams.
  • Perennial streams with an identifiable spring might be favored if the goal is to increase biodiversity.
  • Increased biodiversity should be associated with the increased filtering potential.
